New here? You’re in the right place.
A watershed is an important point of division or transition between two phases, conditions, etc.; an event or period marking a turning point in a course of action or state of affairs. That’s exactly what we hope this place is about.
An encounter with the grace and love of God is the most dramatic watershed moment anyone could experience. It’s what the gospel is all about: joy instead of sorrow, peace instead of anxiety, purpose instead of wandering.
We believe the bible. We believe in Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We believe Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and the Life, and that no one comes to the Father except through Him (John 14:6).
And we believe that his mercies are new every morning (Lamentations 3:22-23), that he earnestly longs for every man and woman to choose him (1 Timothy 2:4), and that he can be counted on to forgive and restore (1 John 1:9).
Service starts at 10AM on Sundays, but you can show up as early as 9:30 if you like. The cafe space (to your left when you walk in) will be open, so come and hang out!
If you have kids (ages 2 through Grade 5) who want to hang out with other kids, you can check them in toward the back of the cafe. They’re safe (they will only be released back to the person who drops them off) and they’ll have a great time!
Our worship service (to your right when you walk in) starts with praise and worship (music). It usually starts out kinda loud and then calms down. We believe that Jesus made a way for us to be in God’s presence, even here on earth, and that’s what this time is all about.
We carve out a little time for some news and to give. If you’re new with us, please don’t feel obligated to donate. This is about people who have committed to our local church to support the work we feel God is calling us to. That’s all.
Then Pastor Scott Neubauer (usually) will teach a lesson and/or share some inspiration from the bible. We believe in the sanctity of scripture, so we focus on it and let it shape our opinions and convictions.
Our prayer team is always available for individual ministry time at the front of the worship space after the message. But don’t worry – everyone else will be chatting and slowly making their way back to the cafe.
